About the role

  • Business Development Manager growing Indra’s EV charging solutions in the UK’s Direct Channels. Focused on trade wholesalers, EV installers, and contractors for regional and national accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the commercial sales strategy for this channel to drive growth within trade wholesale, electrical contractor, installer, and housebuilder channels.
  • Identify, develop, and manage new and existing accounts across the UK.
  • Promote Indra’s full suite of EV charging products and services, positioning the company as the partner of choice for quality and innovation.
  • Work closely with the internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment and exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide product training, demonstrations, and technical support to channel partners where required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the EV and electrical sectors.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.
  • Attend trade events, exhibitions, and industry forums to represent Indra and generate new business leads.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development or field sales within EVSE, electrical wholesale, energy solutions, or a similar technical industry.
  • Experience selling into trade distribution, electrical installers, and contractors is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within B2B environments.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and close profitable opportunities.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with CRM tools and structured sales pipeline management.
  • Based in the UK and able to travel.
