Business Development Manager growing Indra’s EV charging solutions in the UK’s Direct Channels. Focused on trade wholesalers, EV installers, and contractors for regional and national accounts.
Responsibilities
Execute the commercial sales strategy for this channel to drive growth within trade wholesale, electrical contractor, installer, and housebuilder channels.
Identify, develop, and manage new and existing accounts across the UK.
Promote Indra’s full suite of EV charging products and services, positioning the company as the partner of choice for quality and innovation.
Work closely with the internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment and exceptional customer experience.
Provide product training, demonstrations, and technical support to channel partners where required.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the EV and electrical sectors.
Deliver accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.
Attend trade events, exhibitions, and industry forums to represent Indra and generate new business leads.
Requirements
Proven track record in business development or field sales within EVSE, electrical wholesale, energy solutions, or a similar technical industry.
Experience selling into trade distribution, electrical installers, and contractors is essential.
Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within B2B environments.
Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and close profitable opportunities.
Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
Proficient with CRM tools and structured sales pipeline management.
Based in the UK and able to travel.
