About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing medium- and long-term software projects in the backend context (Java, JEE, Spring, and more)
- Participation in the entire development lifecycle: requirements analysis, conception, design, development, implementation and quality assurance
- Development of custom insurance software solutions (digital platforms, virtual insurance, member portals, benefits apps, broker/agent portals, and more)
- Involvement in the technology transformation of major insurers across a variety of projects
- Contributing expertise to special projects and prototype development to drive innovative new solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Passion for software development, new ideas and technologies
- Extensive practical experience in developing multi-layer IT architectures
- Strong experience with Java, JEE or Spring
- Knowledge of Cloud (AWS, Azure), Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Very good German skills and enthusiasm for agile working methods
