Responsibilities
Lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) process for the Americas region, providing service and support to North America (NA) while ensuring operational excellence and compliance
Manage day-to-day activities of the General Ledger (GL) Accounting Team, including supervision, performance monitoring, and internal reporting
Oversee GL account reconciliations, review and analyze the General Ledger/trial balance, and collaborate with local Finance teams to identify necessary adjustments
Ensure team utilization, holiday balance, and mandatory training compliance according to established guidelines
Drive process improvements, implement mitigation plans, and support new transitions within the team
Monitor global accounting activities, promote integration, and lead change initiatives
Support the preparation and submission of financial statements and consolidation processes
Act as the first point of escalation for local teams and other areas, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
4–6 years of relevant experience in general accounting and financial processes
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with strong emphasis on Excel
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and delivering excellent customer service
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team
Critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills
