About the role

  • Product Manager overseeing data and platform strategy at Anglian Water. Leading teams to drive impact through data and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and coaching across Product Owners (POs) and Technical Product Owners (TPOs)
  • Build a strong product management capability and ensure teams are aligned, motivated, and delivering effectively
  • Define product management guardrails, oversee performance metrics, and foster continuous learning and capability improvement across the product community
  • Own organisational product portfolio management and planning, ensuring alignment across data and platform products
  • Collaborate with architecture, analytics, and AI teams, translating overarching product strategy into actionable roadmaps
  • Manage budgets, ROI, total cost of ownership, and risk, ensuring products deliver tangible value at scale
  • Engage senior stakeholders, gathering feedback, tracking trends, and enabling colleagues to make the most of corporate data

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent demonstrable experience in role
  • Certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO1), PSPO2 or similar are often beneficial
  • Scaled Agile experience of working across multiple Agile teams
  • Prior experience in product management, Agile, Scrum, DevOps modes of operation, business analysis, or a related role in software development
  • Basic understanding of the technology stack, allowing effective communication with developers and understanding of potential technical constraints
  • Awareness of UX principles and the value of intuitive, user-friendly designs, backed by user research and feedback mechanisms
