About the role
- Associate Manager, Localization managing multilingual content for Hyatt's global brand. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality localization across all regions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners such as brand, marketing, loyalty, digital and others
- Support the execution of Hyatt’s enterprise-wide localization strategy to ensure consistent, high-quality multilingual content across all regions
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including brand, marketing, loyalty, digital, consumer insights and regional teams—to triage and manage translation requests
- Identify localization opportunities, streamline workflows and maintain alignment with Hyatt’s brand standards
- Own the end-to-end project lifecycle for various localization projects
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional Hyatt stakeholders and translation vendors
- Support the Senior Manager and Manager in implementing Hyatt’s localization vendor strategy and management
- Advise internal teams, regional offices, hotel properties and agencies on best practices for multilingual content management
- Continually identify opportunities to streamline localization processes and improve multilingual content quality and consistency across consumer touchpoints
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in multilingual omnichannel content creation and management, ideally within the hospitality, travel or consumer brands space
- 3+ years of localization project management experience
- Fluency or proficiency, both written and spoken, in one or more non-English language(s), with Spanish being a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines, and shifting priorities as needed
- Capable of using tools to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with peers and management with minimal direction
- Strong desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment
