About the role

  • Insurance Sales Specialist responsible for inbound and outbound sales calls. Selling personal insurance products and advising clients using established methods and internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Performing inbound and outbound phone sales using multiple insurance carriers.
  • Sell personal insurance products to Individuals.
  • Inbound and Outbound calls to prospective clients.
  • Identify prospective customers using established lead methods.
  • Counsel and advise prospects on matters of protection and coverage.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with referral sources.
  • Meet goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guidelines.
  • Proficient with computers; comparative rater, carrier sites for quoting and documentation as well as internal systems.

Requirements

  • A valid Property and Casualty Insurance license, or will be required to obtain the license within 45 days of hire.
  • 1+ year of work experience focused on Property & Casualty Insurance sales.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Comfort level working with PCs and Microsoft Office programs, and flexibility to learn and adapt to new software applications.
  • Experience working with complex products/processes to understand complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines.
  • The drive to achieve the best sales results and meet high volume deadlines in a call center environment.
