About the role

  • Artistic Director for Bleublancrouge MTL developing impactful visual concepts and managing cross-platform visual identity. Engaging with creative teams to enhance brand visuals across various media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visual identities for content projects (thought leadership series, conferences, internship programs, etc.)
  • Translate strategies into visually engaging and culturally relevant content.
  • Propose graphic toolkits to evolve and standardize a brand’s visual language.
  • Conceive strong visual concepts and adapt them across all formats and platforms: TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Substack, etc.
  • Continuously pitch ideas tied to current culture, pop culture, and platform trends.
  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, videographers, editors, project managers and other creatives within the collective.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in art direction.
  • Agency or digital media experience (or regular collaboration with such teams) is a strong asset.
  • Excellent command of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Motion design or Figma skills are a major plus.
  • Passion for design trends, pop culture and emerging formats.
  • Solid understanding of the norms and conventions of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Experience with and critical thinking about AI tools in a content-production context.
  • Ability to defend your ideas, present them clearly in a deck, and adapt based on feedback.
  • Comfortable adapting visuals to match the project’s intent: serious, humorous, or somewhere in between.
  • Well-channelled creativity: able to brainstorm extensively in the morning and deliver a polished template in the afternoon.
  • Bonus if you have directed a shoot or have experience working with a camera.
