About the role

  • Senior Claims Consultant managing the end-to-end claims process for complex accounts at HUB International. Collaborating with teams and ensuring efficient claims handling across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

  • Support claims handling across five offices
  • Manage the end-to-end claims process for complex and high-profile accounts
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure consistent, efficient claims handling practices
  • Assist clients in understanding the claims process
  • Meet with clients to discuss carrier coverage positions
  • Review carrier coverage position letters and prepare rebuttal correspondence
  • Liaise with carriers, TPAs, adjusters, attorneys, and insureds to coordinate claim strategy
  • Maintain claim files and documentation in internal systems
  • Create and maintain claims trending reports, lag time reports, and loss analyses
  • Support accurate claim filing in coordination with Commercial Lines and Personal Lines service teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of claims management experience
  • Extensive technical knowledge of insurance policies
  • Four-year college degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical ability, and client service orientation
  • Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state when required
  • CPCU designation or related insurance coursework preferred
  • Adjuster and/or Broker license preferred
  • Multi-line brokerage claims experience preferred
