About the role

• IT Project & Delivery Management Consultant at Valcon, driving IT delivery initiatives and optimizing digital strategies. Mentoring junior consultants and helping clients achieve strategic goals through innovative IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT delivery programs, ensuring alignment with the client’s strategic goals.
• Design and deliver end-to-end IT solutions, from architecture to implementation.
• Develop technology departments by building capabilities and implementing governance structures.
• Advise on and implement modern application delivery and data platforms.
• Drive digital transformation by optimising processes and enabling new business models through technology.
• Spot opportunities for new projects and shape them into concrete assignments for Valcon, contributing to the growth of our business.
• Mentor junior consultants, help shape the growth of Valcon’s ITPDM practice, and contribute to thought leadership in the IT consulting space.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience in IT project management, business analysis, or consultancy.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Management, or Computer Science).
• Experience in leading teams and managing stakeholders in complex client environments.
• Affinity with technology, such as application development or low-/high-code solutions.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership skills and a results-driven mindset.
• Experience with agile working and program management methodologies.
