About the role

  • Account Manager managing client accounts and providing innovative insurance solutions. Collaborating with team members and negotiating with carriers to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire account service process
  • Review applications, renewal requests to determine marketing strategy
  • Market to carriers and negotiate rates and terms
  • Prepare quotes and proposals
  • Review policies, processes endorsements/certificates/MVRs/Loss Runs/ID cards
  • Bind policies
  • Assist with audits, as necessary
  • Coordinate premium financing, as necessary
  • Collaborate/assist the Producer with client meetings, strategy sessions
  • May oversee and direct more junior-level team members

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related commercial insurance experience within a brokerage environment
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Holds an insurance license in good standing
  • Computer proficient with MSOS, Outlook, agency management systems (Epic preferred)
  • Required “soft skills”: efficient time management, organization, customer service, high initiative, team-oriented and high attention to detail
