About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist collaborating with HR and Recruitment teams to streamline processes at Hubbell. Managing candidate tracking and ensuring compliance with U.S. employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Recruiters, HR Managers, and Hiring Managers
  • Manage updates for candidates and job requisitions in our applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors)
  • Coordinate and adjust interview schedules as needed and manage candidate travel and accommodation following company guidelines within the US
  • Oversee the ordering, tracking, and reporting of candidate background checks, drug screens, and assessment tests in the US and Puerto Rico
  • Draft and send offer letters to candidates
  • Manage communications and timely responses from the Hubbell Careers external mailbox
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP documentation requirements
  • Contribute to a positive and proactive candidate experience
  • Support the management of the US and Puerto Rico centralized pre-employment procedures

Requirements

  • A college degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Expert-level English proficiency (written and verbal), required
  • Foundational knowledge of U.S. employment law, particularly in hiring and background check practices, required
  • Prior experience in supporting HR or Recruitment teams
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with SuccessFactors is advantageous
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills; proactive and urgent
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in customer-facing roles
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
