About the role
- Veterinary Diagnostician overseeing diagnostic services at KADC. Also serving as resident director and managing laboratory operations and staff with a focus on agricultural health.
Responsibilities
- Oversee diagnostic services and case coordination at KADC
- Review and approve diagnostic test results and release reports to clients
- Supervise laboratory diagnostic technologists and conduct performance reviews
- Serve as prime administrator for KADC and oversee financial operations
Requirements
- DVM or DVM-equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited institution is strongly preferred
- Post-DVM training and/or board certification in a relevant field
- Experience with the range of testing to be conducted at the KADC
- Experience at an AAVLD and/or NAHLN diagnostic laboratory is preferred
- Familiarity with common agricultural livestock and/or poultry production systems in Pennsylvania
