About the role

  • Assistant Director of Portfolio Management contributing to the advancement and alumni engagement at Emory University. Collaborating with development officers, synthesizing data, and leading portfolio reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in preparing data and reports for portfolio review meetings with development and engagement officers.
  • Serves as team liaison to engagement officers and leads strategic portfolio review meetings.
  • Partner with Prospect Development and Stewardship staff for regular portfolio updates.
  • Synthesizes and analyzes prospect data, conducts audits, and monitors data integrity.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and two years of experience in fundraising, information systems and/or fundraising systems
  • Specific skills: strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, ability to work with ambiguity, navigating complex work environment, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, managing multiple projects, flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with project management software, data analysis tools, and CRM systems.
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
