About the role
- Market Intelligence Analyst monitoring health sector movements at Sabará Hospital Infantil in Brazil. Analyzing performance and developing strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze and share market movements in the healthcare sector with management and the board;
- Analyze institutional performance and client profiles, identifying risks and growth opportunities;
- Develop market scenarios and structure operational models to evaluate opportunities;
- Analyze the micro and macroeconomic context and its impacts on the institution;
- Build sensitivity and economic-financial impact models, including use of predictive tools;
- Map, segment and study competitors;
- Develop and update market monitoring indicators and reports;
- Structure market study projects, including definition of sources, methods and timelines;
- Monitor, extract, clean and analyze data from internal and external sources (e.g., ANS, ANAHP, IBGE, SAME, institutional indicators, internal surveys);
- Prepare and present competitive analyses of the institution relative to the market;
- Work closely with strategic areas to support decisions on positioning and differentiation.
- Develop spreadsheets and analytical studies on payers' profiles (number of lives, coverage, products, solvency, etc.);
- Monitor and analyze utilization profiles by payer;
- Conduct comparative studies and impact analyses for payer adjustment proposals;
- Develop indicators and reports of care production by payer;
- Prepare monthly management reports with portfolio performance indicators;
- Support management in consolidating data and information for decision-making;
- Produce analytical reports on portfolio trends and results.
- Participate in budget processes: Business Plan, Budget and Forecast;
- Support the execution of institutional strategic projects;
- Contribute to the review and structuring of workflows and SOPs for the commercial area when related to data governance and analytical processes;
- Track study and analysis requests through to final delivery to requesters;
- Develop and interpret management reports, dashboards and charts.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in the role is desirable;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), strong BI skills; familiarity with the MV system and Qlik is an advantage.
