About the role
- Junior Business Analyst transforming complex data into clear insights at home24. Leverage AI and BI tools to drive innovation and enhance analytics team performance.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and continuously improve our reporting and dashboard repository in Tableau and other BI tools
- Use SQL skills to query complex databases, perform data validation checks and ensure the data that powers our reports is always accurate and reliable
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into clear requirements for new reports and analyses
- Support teams by preparing datasets, performing ad-hoc analyses and presenting results clearly and concisely
- Work closely with analysts, data engineers, product owners and business units to expand your skills and learn how to tackle complex business questions
- Use AI tools to brainstorm, enhance data analysis, generate insights, automate recurring reports and develop innovative BI solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems or another quantitative field
- Initial experience in controlling, BI or analytics roles is a plus, ideally within e‑commerce, furniture, retail or consulting
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good SQL knowledge is essential. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and an understanding of database infrastructures are an advantage
- A proactive, independent working style, experience experimenting with AI tools and a strong sense for how to apply AI innovations practically in business analytics
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
