About the role

  • Intern developing AI functionality for Engine Management Systems with a focus on software and in-vehicle testing. Seeking passionate candidate with mechanical engineering background for innovative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of current Engine Management System (EMS) Software functionality with regards to On Board Monitoring (OBM)
  • Proposing and developing alternative Software functionality exploiting Artificial Intelligence
  • Conducting in-vehicle tests & building data collection database for the AI model
  • Executing the methodology and programming an AI model trained on the collected database
  • Deploying the AI model on an external ECU for final validation & in-vehicle test
  • Vehicle preparation for development activities
  • Participating to general team tasks & providing updates on project process

Requirements

  • Pre-Degree in mechanical/ automotive engineering
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB or C is necessary
  • Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
  • Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
  • A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
