About the role
- Senior Construction Manager ensuring quality and planning compliance on national and international construction projects for Hitachi Rail. Liaising with various stakeholders and managing resources effectively at site locations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of the works (e.g. compliance of the works with the projects design and specifications)
- Ensure compliance of construction activities with the construction planning
- Liaise with Customers /Authorities /Contractors/ Partner/ Subcontractors for site and/or materials takeover and/or handover
- Ensure the compliance on site of the rules foreseen by the HSE Management plan, for the works under his/her responsibility
- Ensure the optimization of the resources (internal and external/subcontractors) in the project on site, having as baseline the project budget and Planning
- Develop site specific plans to be implemented in projects program and budget in agreement with Construction manager
- Support the Construction Manager to ensure the material is available on site in accordance to the Working Schedule agreed with Customer and Subcontractors
Requirements
- Up to 5 Years on Site Activities/site workforce management/Site technical control and coordination
- Working knowledge of Windows and Office Package
- Experience and fluency on technical drawing and reporting
- Basic knowledge on AutoCAD, MS Project as a plus
- Knowledge of Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power Technology Systems
- Driving license valid in Sweden, availability to drive
- Open to discuss travel/long term assignment to national/foreign Construction Projects
- Basic to Average working knowledge of Rail Transit Subsystem and work experience on metro site works is a plus
- Self-confident, smart, communicative and team worker
