About the role

  • Configuration Manager overseeing configuration management processes at AtkinsRéalis, leading large engineering programs and establishing CM systems across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage & establish configuration management at a company or programme level
  • Establish, maintain and implement a programme level CM system
  • Provides capability planning, budgeting, scheduling, implementation, monitoring and improvement
  • Accountable for the deployment and maintenance of the Configuration Management system
  • Builds a network of relationships with External businesses, contractors and industry experts

Requirements

  • Educated to Degree or HND/HNC level
  • Experience in Senior Management Training/Qualification
  • In depth understanding and proven application of CM Standards (Def Stan 05-57, Def Stan 05-61, EIA-649, ISO10007 and IpX CMII)
  • Knowledge and experience of performing CM at the company/programme level
  • Fully conversant and experienced in the functionality and implementation of CM tools (comprehensive PLM tools)
  • Experience of managing a dispersed and often indirect team of people
