About the role
- Principal Architect overseeing enterprise architecture designs for BT Business clients. Enhance customer experience and drive profitable growth through technical leadership and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the account leadership team and the customer's trusted advisor
- Maintain a multi-year solution roadmap, co-created with the customers key decision makers and stakeholders.
- Drawing on the customer’s business drivers, industry trends and BT’s product and solutions portfolio
- Ensure technical risks and issues are managed and mitigated
- Provide leadership to the operational teams in moments of major customer jeopardy
- Drive revenue generation, cashflow, EBIT, NPS and on time quality delivery

- A diverse range of technical skills at an architecture level, deeper in a number:
- WAN / LAN / Wi-Fi (e.g. HPE, Fortinet, Cisco)
- Software defined networks (SDWAN, SDLAN, Segmentation)
- Security (e.g. ZTNA, IAM, IDS/IPS, ZTNA, SASE, Firewalls)
- Proxy Technology (e.g. Palo Alto, Bluecoat, Ivanti, Cisco)
- Collaboration / Voice (e.g. MS Teams, Cisco, GSIP)
- Contact Centres (e.g. Avaya, Genesys)
- Public/private Compute / Cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Tooling / IaC (e.g. Netbrain, Terraform)
- Strategy Development (e.g. discovery, requirements, road mapping, architecture)
- Methodology (e.g. TOGAF, MBSE, ITIL, DevOps, etc.)
- Architectural/Technical governance
