About the role

Responsibilities
- Hexion is seeking a highly capable Legal Counsel to support its European operations.
- The role will serve as a trusted legal partner to business leaders.
- Provide practical, risk-balanced legal advice in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements across Europe.
- Advise the business on European and local regulatory frameworks.
- Act as a strategic legal advisor to regional leadership.
Requirements
- Licensed Attorney, in good standing, admitted to practice in the Netherlands.
- 3 or more years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably with practice supporting businesses.
- Familiarity with EMEA commercial laws.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent business judgment and flexibility to cover a broad range of legal matters.
- Law degree with admittance to the Dutch bar; additional LLM preferred.
- Law firm experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing/chemical company is desired.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
- High level of integrity with ability to support a culture of compliance.
- Ability to work within a global, matrix environment.
