About the role

  • Senior Counsel managing GE Aerospace's ABAC compliance program. Overseeing risk management, compliance training, and legal support concerning anti-corruption laws.

Responsibilities

  • Owner of GE Aerospace ABAC compliance program
  • Managing risk globally in collaboration with key business stakeholders
  • Maintain robust risk controls
  • Monitor & test effectiveness of risk controls
  • Oversee enterprise-wide ABAC processes and controls
  • Act as subject matter expert on anti-corruption and anti-money laundering laws
  • Provide legal advice, training, and support on compliance issues
  • Drive initiatives to forecast emerging risks and implement solutions
  • Investigate compliance concerns and manage audits
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive compliance training

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate from accredited university
  • At least 7 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney
  • Member in good standing with a State Bar
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of their time
