About the role
- Senior Counsel managing GE Aerospace's ABAC compliance program. Overseeing risk management, compliance training, and legal support concerning anti-corruption laws.
Responsibilities
- Owner of GE Aerospace ABAC compliance program
- Managing risk globally in collaboration with key business stakeholders
- Maintain robust risk controls
- Monitor & test effectiveness of risk controls
- Oversee enterprise-wide ABAC processes and controls
- Act as subject matter expert on anti-corruption and anti-money laundering laws
- Provide legal advice, training, and support on compliance issues
- Drive initiatives to forecast emerging risks and implement solutions
- Investigate compliance concerns and manage audits
- Develop and deliver comprehensive compliance training
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from accredited university
- At least 7 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney
- Member in good standing with a State Bar
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of their time
