About the role
- Technical Author responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and e-learning content. Collaborating with development teams and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Technical documentation: Create and maintain operating, maintenance, repair and commissioning manuals
- Online learning & training: Develop didactically prepared learning content for our online learning system and the internal training department
- Safety and warning notices: Draft standards-compliant notices, taking risk assessment into account
- Subject-matter coordination: Independently research technical content and coordinate it with the responsible specialist departments, especially development
- Special projects: Take on exciting cross-departmental tasks and contribute your own ideas
Requirements
- Education/degree: You have vocational training or a degree in Technical Communication or a technical qualification with the corresponding additional qualification/professional experience
- Professional experience: You have experience in structured, XML-based documentation (e.g. DITA)
- Software skills: You are proficient with DTP tools such as Adobe FrameMaker and have basic knowledge of graphic and illustration tools
- Language skills: You have very good German and English language skills
- Analytical & didactic skills: You present complex technical content clearly and understandably
- Self-responsibility: You work independently, well organized and motivated
