About the role

  • Einkäufer managing procurement processes and supplier relationships for mechanical components at a company in Germany. Ensuring quality and optimizing purchasing performance with a focus on strategic sourcing.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement processes: Negotiate and execute operational and strategic sourcing processes for mechanical components
  • Purchasing strategy: Restructure and develop projects for defined commodity groups — taking into account price and value analyses as well as relevant quality indicators
  • Supplier management: Actively source new suppliers domestically and internationally and continuously expand our network in the field of innovative technologies
  • Quality assurance: Ensure delivery reliability and product quality and independently maintain all relevant master data and pricing
  • Purchasing controlling: Manage and monitor purchasing performance and derive measures for optimization
  • Projects: Take on procurement projects and contribute your expertise to cross-functional tasks

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training: You have completed commercial training and bring at least two years of professional experience
  • Further training & technical understanding: Ideally you have advanced training as a purchasing specialist (Fachkaufmann) or solid technical knowledge
  • Purchasing experience: You have hands-on purchasing experience in a manufacturing company and a strong technical understanding
  • Contract knowledge & IT: You have solid experience in contract drafting, deep technical understanding, and confident PC skills
  • Demeanor & language: You present yourself professionally and purposefully and possess business-fluent English (negotiation level).
