  • Drive execution, project management and operational momentum across priority communications initiatives, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Translate high-level objectives into clear plans, timelines and next steps.
  • Build and maintain lightweight, scalable communications operations - calendars, trackers, timelines, owners, media lists, coverage reports and shared assets - keeping everything meticulous and up to date.
  • Coordinate closely with design, product, clinical, marketing, legal and leadership teams to unblock progress and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across markets.
  • Translate complex ideas, including technical, clinical or financial concepts, into clear, compelling narratives that work across channels and audiences.
  • Use AI tooling to streamline workflows, analyze media sentiment, surface insights and improve speed, consistency and quality across communications outputs.
  • Draft, edit and refine press releases, announcements, thought leadership, blog posts and other external content to a consistently high standard.
  • Monitor media, competitors and industry trends, sharing insights with the wider team and proactively identifying opportunities to tell Heidi’s story - then running them from idea to execution.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ experience in communications or PR, ideally in a fast-paced agency, startup, or tech environment

  • Exceptionally organised, comfortable managing multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
  • Confident juggling competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders, while keeping momentum high
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, taking feedback in stride and turning it into better output
  • A self-starter mindset — proactive, curious, and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-shifting priorities, with a bias toward action and problem-solving
  • Fluent and confident applying AI to your own workflows — using AI tools thoughtfully to research, draft, analyse, and improve communications output
  • Knows how to automate the work we shouldn’t be doing, freeing up time for higher-value thinking
  • Technically curious, with experience or strong interest in working with technical topics and AI tools
  • Data-driven, using insights and performance data to improve communication impact and efficiency
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to work effectively across teams and with external partners
  • Proactive and independent, you don’t wait to be told what to do and take ownership end-to-end

Benefits

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.
  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum
  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team
  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win
  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups
  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!
