About the role

  • Product Analyst responsible for implementing risk-based pricing strategies at Purpose Financial. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep-dive analysis of product performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Extract and clean data from databases and analytics platforms to assist with the design and prioritization of product feature enhancement
  • Build and maintain dashboard and reports to track key metrics
  • Perform routine data analyses to address clearly defined business questions
  • Support A/B testing and pilot initiative by preparing datasets, validating inputs and summarizing results for review by senior team members
  • Assist in developing and implementing predictive models to support long-term roadmap planning with data-driven insights
  • Transform data findings into digestible insights and aid in advocating for product improvements
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Identify trends and analyze variances from the budget to aid in project prioritization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product strategies that align with business goals
  • Understand, adhere to, and enforce all corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. (Advanced Degree preferred.)
  • Experience as a product analyst, data scientist, data engineering or related role where required experience gained.
  • Prior experience in the near prime/subprime consumer lending industry would be an asset.
  • Must have hands-on experience in SQL and Python to extract large datasets from relational databases and perform data manipulation.
  • Demonstrated experience to build interactive and production-level dashboards and reports using Tableau (or similar tools like Sigma, Power BI, Qlik).
  • Ability to combine data from multiple sources to analyze and interpret business performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are needed to communicate in person, by phone, and through email.
