About the role
- Senior Salesforce Developer designing and implementing Salesforce solutions at Hargreaves Lansdown. Collaborating with teams to enhance the Salesforce platform with mentorship responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other Engineers to design scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Work closely with teams across "Design & Build," "DevOps, QA, and Support," and consultant-led workstreams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce technologies, features, and trends, bringing innovative ideas to the platform.
- Address and resolve technical challenges, providing solutions that align with business objectives.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for technical designs, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce architecture, development tools, and best practices, with expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and APIs.
- Proven experience in designing and developing complex Salesforce solutions.
- Experience in release management using both 2nd Generation Unlocked Packaging and SF DevOps tooling such as Gearset.
- A track record of solving challenging technical problems and delivering robust solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are highly desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience, including Lightning components and App Builder.
- Experience with third-party applications and integrations, such as marketing automation tools, Data Cloud, Einstein.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead role.
