About the role

  • Senior Global Account Manager managing high-impact DAX 40 accounts at HPE Networking. Driving networking transformation and building long-term partnerships with global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage selected global, high‑impact DAX 40 accounts with partial worldwide Networking revenue accountability
  • Help global customers shape the future of connectivity—through intelligent edge services, cloud‑managed networking, and zero‑trust security, all built on a resilient, enterprise‑grade platform designed for tomorrow’s demands
  • Building long‑term, trust‑based partnerships with enterprises operating highly distributed, mission‑critical environments
  • Work closely with executive stakeholders and technical leaders to modernize and secure their network infrastructure from edge to cloud
  • Focus on enabling innovation at global scale through HPE Enterprise Solutions, Autonomous Self‑Driving Networks, and next‑generation architectures that deliver resilience, agility, and operational excellence
  • Serve as their trusted advisor for large‑scale networking transformation
  • Drive strategic initiatives aligned to customers’ digital transformation and modernization priorities
  • Deliver secure, scalable networking solutions for hybrid work, IoT, AI, and edge‑driven innovation

Requirements

  • Academic degree in economic or similar field of studies
  • 10+ years of sales experience in account management and enterprise IT solutions.
  • Direct and channel expertise combined with a consultative, customer‑first mindset
  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage with senior executives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of IT trends and digital transformation.
  • Broad understanding of the HPE Networking solution portfolio to apply standard as well as creative solutions to meet customer needs
  • Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders on multiple levels to drive pipeline and sales
  • Expertise in managing end- to-end sales processes in complex, multinational conglomerate environments
  • Business fluency in German and English language.
