About the role

  • BI Data Analyst performing data analytics projects and providing Power BI training at Gunvor. Collaborating with stakeholders and managing Power BI workspaces effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Global IT Project Manager
  • Implementing data analytic projects/business requirement using Microsoft Power BI
  • Providing Power BI related guidance / trainings, support to end users
  • Managing and monitoring Power BI workspaces
  • Go-to person for any Power BI/Data analytic related queries
  • Conducting Power BI end user trainings whenever required
  • Reinforcing Power BI governance policy
  • Creating workspace, managing user permissions, adjusting workspace settings
  • Gathering and documenting user requirements, performing solution prototyping
  • Implementing Power BI datasets/reports/dashboard to fulfill business needs
  • Documenting analytical processes and data sets for predictive and prescriptive analysis
  • Automating fundamental data processing processes
  • Managing and working closely with various stakeholders (e.g., end users, senior management, external vendors)

Requirements

  • 5 years of data/business analyst experience
  • 3 years of reporting
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer Science, data Analytics, business intelligence, mathematics or statistics
  • Preferred certifications Power BI Data Analyst Microsoft
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI
  • Perfect knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, data processing automation, predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Self-sufficient with good time management skills
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
