About the role

  • Data Analytics Manager ensuring data-driven insights for advertising strategies. Overseeing team and project performance at AlmapBBDO.

Responsibilities

  • This position has two primary responsibilities:
  • (1) Act as the data point of contact for both external and internal clients
  • (2) Closely monitor campaign performance and the effectiveness of strategies using data analysis techniques applied to the advertising context
  • Manage and develop a team, with support from coordination, ensuring optimal working conditions so they can generate actionable intelligence through data and technology solutions. 75% management, 25% individual contributions.
  • Play an active role in investigating problems and identifying growth levers for the brands and e-commerce clients served, using the available tools.
  • Manage relationships with clients, internal teams, other agencies within the group, and partners inside and outside Brazil.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with other data and technology disciplines such as Data Engineering, Social Insights, Martech, and Media Research.
  • Apply established project management methodologies in day-to-day work and implement them where they are not yet in place.
  • Ensure the team meets deliverables, deadlines, and the quality expected by the client.
  • Participate in and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities and team-building initiatives for the entire Data and Martech area.
  • Maintain and expand relevance within an already consolidated data operation.
  • Actively contribute to advancing automation and artificial intelligence agendas.
  • Ensure we get the maximum value from the tools contracted by the client.
  • Guide clients toward the best approaches in terms of solution design and governance of the data environment.
  • Foster team upskilling focused on career-stage progression.

Requirements

  • Excel | Power Query | Power BI — Advanced (required).
  • Microsoft Fabric — a plus.
  • Solid experience in the field and as a people manager.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in Portuguese and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, clear communication, adaptability, and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to prioritize and anticipate issues, with deep knowledge of the client’s business.
  • Ability to engage with clients across different segments such as CPG, Finance, Travel, Automotive, etc.
  • Knowledge of business and marketing strategy and the dynamics of technology operations within advertising agencies.
  • Innate curiosity and strong exploratory analysis skills.
  • Strong experience in data analysis focused on campaign performance, especially digital.
  • Broad knowledge of tools for campaign management, optimization, and measurement, as well as journey automation, personalization, testing tools, and unconventional data sources.
  • Practical knowledge of applied statistics in marketing: descriptive and inferential analyses, hypothesis testing, clustering, segmentation, and projections/forecasts.
  • Understanding of paid and organic contexts, pre- and post-click; familiarity with market platforms such as web analytics, buy-side platforms, CDPs, DMPs, Ad Verification tools, etc.
  • Conceptual knowledge of tools traditionally used by advertising agencies such as ComScore, TGI, and Monitor.
  • Experience in advertising agencies to facilitate collaboration with other departments.
  • Ability to design and plan data visualizations to generate requirements for the Engineering team.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira/Hive.
