About the role
- Managing Consultant leading a team for a federal healthcare integrity initiative. Advising on ACA program requirements and guiding state education for healthcare markets.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of 10 or more junior staffers in supporting a large federal agency
- Advising the client on establishing and solidifying program requirements
- Configuring processes, templates, and tools
- Conducting outreach to educate states on program requirements and their role
- Collecting, ingesting, and analyzing state data to inform data collection processes and requirements
- Conducting limited reviews of state Affordable Care Act applications to inform production review processes
- Providing recommendations to inform implementation of the expanded program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience, at least 2 in a management capacity
- Experience working in or knowledge of the Affordable Care Act, specifically State-Based Exchanges and health insurance markets and exchanges
- Ability to oversee multiple concurrent workstreams
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience
