IT Support Officer providing technical assistance to end users at Macmahon. Responsible for resolving incidents and maintaining IT services within the company.
Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact and assist end users (employees, alliance members, contractors and stakeholders) to maximise the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Macmahon’s technology services.
Resolve incidents and complete service requests, escalating high priority issues to specialised support groups as required.
Maintain ongoing communications with end users to provide updates, verify resolution and improve satisfaction with Macmahon’s technology services.
Diagnose and resolve computer hardware issues, software malfunctions, printer, or peripheral issues.
IT onboarding activities such as PC imaging, initial user setup, account creation and administration.
Maintenance and co-ordination of IT assets.
Assist in planning and executing IT projects including implementation of new technology solutions, infrastructure changes, and software deployment.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
2 – 3 years of experience in technical support/service desk role.
Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, MS Exchange, and supporting Windows 10/11.
Strong knowledge of IP addressing, firewalls, Remote Desktop.
Experience with supporting AV/Meeting rooms and mobile device management (MDM).
Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded.
