About the role

  • Sales Controller at GROHE responsible for financial analysis and insights for the sales team. Driving commercial decision-making and optimizing profitability for the company based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • You act as a committed financial sparring partner for our Sales and Key Account teams, embedding financial diligence and transparency into all commercial decision-making processes.
  • You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of our commercial terms – from creation and calculation to review and administration of all customer-related financial conditions (e.g., bonuses, prices, discounts) in SAP.
  • You perform detailed analyses of pricing, margin and product-mix developments and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for the sales organization.
  • You identify unprofitable pricing and terms structures and work closely with sales to optimize them — directly impacting margin improvement.
  • You ensure that all customer bonus provisions are correctly calculated and continuously maintained, making a significant contribution to accurate reporting.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, business administration or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience is advantageous, ideally in controlling or FP&A
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Highly analytical and conceptual way of thinking
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams
  • Structured, meticulous and self-directed working style
  • Confident presence and assertiveness
  • Excellent spoken and written German and English
