About the role

Responsibilities

  • Reporting & KPI Management: Develop and maintain performance reports and KPIs to monitor and improve service levels.
  • S&OP – Supply Planning: Collaborate with the Demand Planner to ensure supply availability, provide forecasts for the R&P supply base, and represent the site in global calls.
  • POR Management: Track the execution of the sales POR, identify risks and gaps, recommend mitigation actions, and drive the implementation of action plans.
  • Site Service Level: Develop and maintain KPIs at various levels, use RCCM tools to identify root causes and implement countermeasures, and coordinate with the team to ensure targets are met.
  • Daily Operations Control: Perform daily checks on exception messages, backlog (date management, supply eligibility, SO acknowledgment, shipment consolidation), and supply-demand alignment (e.g., missing POs). Conduct weekly reviews with the COF team to drive service level improvements.
  • The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining and enhancing inventory control processes to support excellent service levels and future growth of the Business Unit in Székesfehérvár.
  • The primary KPIs are inventory value and Inventory Turnover (ITO). Key responsibilities include setting accurate inventory forecasts with appropriate safety stock levels, ensuring an optimal mix and volume of stock, maintaining base item inventory, and managing the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) process.
  • Provide quote support to the Front-End Organization in regards of request for volume orders or best match requests.
  • Full accountability for the Cycle Count process and the connecting audits.
  • The Item Creation Controller is responsible for managing the item creation process, including workflows for both purchased and manufactured items.
  • Ensures accurate part number setup for new items and changes, maintaining the integrity of the item master database in Oracle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Economics, Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of item management, material flow, purchasing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English; fluent English is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for inventory management.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to think with a “customer-first” approach.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Applications is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to supervise and manage students in their daily work.
  • A proactive team player with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Sense of urgency to resolve issues timely and effectively.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in common software applications.
