Responsibilities
Manage a team of 10 to 20 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists who maintain inventory in customer accounts helping customers save time and money.
Use Grainger network to collaborate within multiple teams to achieve results.
Implement Leader Plan which includes assessing and prioritizing, coaching and teaching, hiring top talent.
Promote great team member engagement, support team member development.
Manage projects by allocating resources ensuring return on investment and profitability.
Understand market conditions and trends and customer requirements to provide appropriate direction and guidance to the broader organization.
Ensure the right solutions and resources are being offered/deployed to customers.
5+ years' manufacturing or industrial business experience with direct leadership experience.
Understanding of financial and economic concepts.
Experience leading in a matrixed environment.
Experience building and working within different teams.
Strength in process improvement, ownership and control and project management.
Experience leading and working towards goals with a remote team.
Ability to be in the field three days a week coaching your team.
