About the role

  • Regional Facility Manager overseeing technical and operational aspects of properties in Southwest Germany. Involves communication with internal clients and external contractors.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all technical matters related to the properties in the assigned region for owners and internal customers (m/f/d)
  • Site-specific inventory and data maintenance
  • Responsibility for the operational equipment and occupational safety database (AuditorPlus) and organized document management
  • Designation of safety officers and first-aid and fire protection assistants in coordination with the Head of Department/Team Leader Customer Service
  • Organization of occupational health & safety and fire protection, including assignment of assistants, in coordination with site coordinators
  • On-site inspections for occupational safety and fire protection according to checklists and documentation in AuditorPlus
  • Operational energy management, e.g., reporting on-site consumption data for energy data collection (collection, reporting, supply, etc.)
  • Obtaining quotes, awarding contracts and managing external service providers (maintenance, testing, repairs)
  • Support for lease terminations and commencements (broker management) and handovers; taking over sites (move management, minor renovations, decommissioning planning and budgeting)
  • Property defect and warranty management
  • Maintenance and inspection management of legally regulated systems, e.g., rolling gates, automatic doors, etc.
  • Repair and maintenance management
  • Regular on-site presence at the properties
  • Posting of documents, emergency and first-aid plans at the sites
  • Ensuring waste disposal at the sites (UMCL U2013 disposal)

Requirements

  • Technical or commercial vocational training, ideally with initial professional experience in facility management
  • Technical knowledge for assessing necessary technical repairs and maintenance work
  • Experience managing technical service providers
  • Confident IT skills
  • Practical, hands-on mindset
  • Organizational skills, ability to prioritise and take responsibility
  • Solution- and service-oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel
