- Senior Commercial Claim Manager responsible for managing claims in CAPEX and construction projects in the energy sector. Identifying risks, developing strategies, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Central role in professional claim management for our CAPEX and construction projects in the energy sector
- Identify, assess and manage contractual claims throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Independently manage the full claim process in complex large-scale projects
- Develop commercially and legally robust strategies for claims and counterclaims
- Analyze additional costs, delays and performance deviations
- Derive clear recommendations for action and assess contractual risks during the tender phase
- Identify and prioritize risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop effective mitigation measures
- Prepare and review structured claim documentation
- Conduct professional correspondence and negotiate with clients, suppliers and consortium partners
- Act as the main point of contact for claim-related matters, coach project teams and report management-relevant status, risks and opportunities
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Law or a comparable qualification
- Solid professional experience in claim management, preferably in plant construction or the energy sector
- Knowledge of project and contract law
- Experience with CAPEX projects or in the construction/plant engineering environment
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and excellent communication abilities
- Assertiveness and conflict resolution skills
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
