About the role

• Préventionniste en santé et sécurité au travail pour entreprise manufacturière à Granby ou Vaudreuil. Responsable d'élaborer des pratiques SST et collaborer avec les équipes opérationnelles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate health and safety risks;
• Support managers and teams in implementing OHS best practices;
• Lead projects and initiatives to prevent incidents and continuously improve practices;
• Identify, assess, and quantify potential hazards in the plant;
• Conduct inspections, risk analyses, and internal audits;
• Participate in accident investigations and recommend corrective actions;
• Develop, implement, and monitor OHS policies, programs, and procedures;
• Develop and deliver training to promote a safety culture;
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure regulatory compliance;
• Provide proactive, supportive guidance to managers and employees.

Requirements

• Experienced (4 to 6 years in a similar role);
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS);
• Comfortable with project management and teamwork;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stress;
• Flexible, approachable, and motivated to sustainably develop the OHS culture;
• Knowledge of MRP software (e.g., EPICOR) is an asset.
