About the role

  • Manager overseeing strategy, implementation, and management of the event technology ecosystem for Goodwin's Global Operations Team. Collaborating across departments to enhance event lifecycle and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the firm’s primary project manager for Cvent-based events
  • Lead end-to-end delivery including build, configuration, testing, launch, reporting, and post-event analysis
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and integrations with stakeholders across departments
  • Assess current event-related tools and recommend enhancements or new solutions
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to set up and manage integrations
  • Maintain working knowledge of APIs, data mapping, and governance
  • Design and deliver training and documentation for planners and internal stakeholders
  • Set up and manage event check-in technology
  • Support event collateral and communication needs
  • Ensure data quality across systems; create and maintain dashboards and reports
  • Manage event technology vendors, review contracts, coordinate upgrades

Requirements

  • BA/BS or Equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in event technology management or comparable systems administration
  • Cvent certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing enterprise event platforms (Cvent preferred)
  • Expertise in event management systems
  • Preference to Cvent, EMS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workfront, Zoom and an understanding of integrations (travel, CRM, etc.)
  • Experience and familiarity with other related technologies including but not limited to Bizzabo, RainFocus, ON24, Webex Events, Swoogo, Goldcast, SpotMe, HubSpot, Marketo, Smartsheet, Monday.com, and Maptition, or comparable tools supporting event registration, engagement, CRM, analytics, or project management
  • Demonstrated ability to train and empower others to utilize event technology systems effectively
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to data integrity, security, and user experience across integrated systems
  • Ability to interact professionally at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
