  • Human Resources Administrative Assistant supporting HR functions and employee interactions at Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin. Responsible for various administrative tasks to facilitate HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administrative and operational functions for the HR department.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employees and guests.
  • Provide general support to the HR team with assigned tasks.
  • Create employee badges for new and current employees.
  • Track and respond to mail, phone, email, and contact forms.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain postage meter and copy machines, ordering service and parts.
  • Process and record incoming checks.
  • Produce various reports in support of HR department and marketing team.
  • Complete employment verifications for current and former employees.
  • Participate in projects as part of a team or project lead.
  • Create materials on HR topics as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and willingness to learn database programs.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively interact and problem solve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
