About the role

  • Account Executive managing client relationships and promoting CAMWorks solutions. Driving software adoption and client satisfaction in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow client accounts by understanding business needs and presenting CAMWorks solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the sales and implementation process.
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to understand product offerings and translate complex CAM concepts into value-driven solutions for clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of CAMWorks software packages and their applications within the manufacturing and SolidWorks environments.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth or additional services.
  • Proactively address client concerns and facilitate solutions by working closely with internal support and development teams.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics related to client engagement and software adoption.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to continually offer relevant insights and support to clients.

Requirements

  • Proven sales success in account management, sales and services, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and client retention.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a focus on building strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support their success.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, motivation, and coachability, with a willingness to learn new products and sales strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Experience with CAM software technology; or Experience in manufacturing-focused industries including Industrial Products, Automotive/Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, Consumer Products, High Tech, and Medical Device & Lifesciences.
