About the role
- Senior Business Analyst delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis for Givaudan's Taste & Wellbeing division. Collaborating with finance teams and supporting decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis Taste & Wellbeing by delivering insightful reporting, robust analysis, and strong business partnering.
- Prepare the monthly business reporting package including sales, margins, headcount, and financial performance.
- Analyse P&L variances, identify underlaying business drivers, and develop clear management commentary.
- Compile and maintain data models and reports to track performance against targets.
- Contribute to the development of forecasting tools and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support divisional leadership in clarifying the division's financial and non-financial performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in management reporting processes and controlling systems.
- Collaborate with regional Finance teams to ensure data consistency, transparency and accuracy.
- Identify deviations, trends, and risks and contribute to proposals for corrective actions.
- Work closely with Finance teams (Corporate, Divisional, Regional, GBS) and business partners to ensure aligned and reliable reporting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business or a technical / mathematical degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial analysis or business analysis role within a global or international environment
- Experience in project management
- Strong experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Query design, Business Objects Analysis (BOA), Tableau, Databases or similar BI Tools)
- Advanced MS Excel (including macros) and Power Point (Think-cell) and solid SAP knowledge
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and external pressure
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry including process design is an advantage
