Responsibilities
Lead and manage Givaudan’s business activities for assigned key accounts within the Savoury & Snacks segment
Collaborate with the Sales Director – Savoury & Snacks, UK & Ireland, and local Technical and Marketing teams to develop and implement account development plans (ADPs) aligned with business growth objectives
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as their preferred partner for taste and flavour innovation
Develop, communicate, and implement strategic ADPs, sales forecasts, and budgets for each key account, supported by clear KPIs to monitor performance
Manage the brief pipeline—ensuring both quality and volume of projects—to achieve account growth plans
Defend and expand base business through proactive engagement with customers and timely response to market opportunities
Negotiate agreements within corporate guidelines, managing commercial terms such as pricing, credit, and rebates effectively
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution from concept to scale-up and market launch
Requirements
University degree in Food Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
+5 years of successful B2B sales or key account management experience within the food or related industry
Further experience of operating within QSR Foodservice channels would be advantageous, but not essential
Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities for key accounts
Deep understanding of customer strategies, market priorities, and the competitive landscape
Proven ability to identify and convert unmet customer needs into new business opportunities
Skilled negotiator with sound knowledge of profitability management
Collaborative team player experienced in cross-functional work within a global matrix environment
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland as required
