About the role

  • Key Account Manager at Givaudan driving growth through customer collaboration in the Savoury & Snacks segment. Leveraging business acumen and relationships with food manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Givaudan’s business activities for assigned key accounts within the Savoury & Snacks segment
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director – Savoury & Snacks, UK & Ireland, and local Technical and Marketing teams to develop and implement account development plans (ADPs) aligned with business growth objectives
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as their preferred partner for taste and flavour innovation
  • Develop, communicate, and implement strategic ADPs, sales forecasts, and budgets for each key account, supported by clear KPIs to monitor performance
  • Manage the brief pipeline—ensuring both quality and volume of projects—to achieve account growth plans
  • Defend and expand base business through proactive engagement with customers and timely response to market opportunities
  • Negotiate agreements within corporate guidelines, managing commercial terms such as pricing, credit, and rebates effectively
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution from concept to scale-up and market launch

Requirements

  • University degree in Food Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • +5 years of successful B2B sales or key account management experience within the food or related industry
  • Further experience of operating within QSR Foodservice channels would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities for key accounts
  • Deep understanding of customer strategies, market priorities, and the competitive landscape
  • Proven ability to identify and convert unmet customer needs into new business opportunities
  • Skilled negotiator with sound knowledge of profitability management
  • Collaborative team player experienced in cross-functional work within a global matrix environment
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland as required
