About the role

  • Junior Account Manager supporting sales and managing global customer accounts at Givaudan. Collaborating in a multicultural team to drive business success and customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Support growth of Givaudan’s business by managing both top and bottom line under supervision.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships across designated customer/categories, building strong connections with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver customer briefs and account plans with excellence.
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity, providing insights and updates.
  • Develop and execute account plans, integrating customer analysis and market intelligence.
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations to internal teams and customer partners.
  • Identify business opportunities and support customer initiatives within designated portfolios.
  • Oversee project transitions from development to industrialization.
  • Track performance versus KPIs (sales, profitability, win rate) and suggest corrective actions.
  • Manage customer issues ensuring timely and quality resolution.
  • Operate confidently in ambiguous environments, demonstrating initiative and a proactive mindset.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, or related functions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the fragrance or related industry.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish desirable.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.
  • Basic negotiation and strong commercial acumen.
  • Passion for fragrances, creativity, and innovation.
  • Understanding of customer strategy, budget principles, profitability metrics, and KPIs.
  • Ability to capture and clearly communicate requirements.
  • Collaborative leadership across functions and geographies.
  • Confidence in dealing with ambiguity and complexity with a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of fragrance business processes, olfactive vocabulary, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
