Responsibilities
- Manage and/or oversee Fragrance Technology activities within an assigned scope.
- Implement global and regional strategy to deliver competitive advantage.
- Address local business needs through effective fragrance technology deployment and innovation development.
- Identify key areas of strategic focus.
- Lead the Fragrance Technology team interface with other functions and Givaudan customers.
- Execute organizational changes in team as required.
- Perform day-to-day management of technical staff and equipment.
- Plan, execute, track and report expenses related to own work areas.
- Support the Commercial and Creative communities in promoting Fragrance technologies.
- Plan, organize and execute complex projects in line with project requirements.
- Design and deliver training sessions for internal teams.
Requirements
- University degree in relevant scientific discipline.
- Significant experience of fragrance / FMCG industries, +8 years.
- Experience of working in an international environment, across geographies and cultures.
- Project management experience.
- Expert knowledge of overall fragrance and/or FMCG science and technologies.
- Basic IP literacy.
- Effective managerial, communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Good business acumen.
- Strong collaboration and ability to lead project teams.
- Ability to gain support from direct colleagues and immediate partners.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions; ability to problem-solve.
