About the role

  • Collaboration with domain architects to document and enhance the IT landscape at GE Gas Power. Leading efforts in process improvement, AI opportunities, and enterprise architecture governance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with domain enterprise and solution architects to document and maintain the current and future state of the IT landscape
  • Assist with the analysis of complex business requirements to help shape the technology strategy
  • Serve as CTO Liaison to help ensure priority alignment between CTO and Power
  • Identify opportunities to enhance IT processes, focusing on how architecture principles and TCO analysis can drive operational efficiency
  • Be responsible for leading citizen development of AI opportunities identified to improve IT Operations within Power
  • Lead, innovate and influence through thought leadership by staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in enterprise architecture
  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and governance models
  • Create clear and concise reports for various audiences, from technical teams to senior leadership
  • Facilitate the IT change management process by coordinating with stakeholders and the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate collaboration

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience/knowledge
  • Significant experience in an IT role, with demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Enterprise Architecture, IT Change Management, or IT Financial Management (TCO)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and financial information to diverse audiences
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, including exposure to the Change Management and Application Portfolio Management (APM) modules
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and IT financial concepts
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and financial modeling is highly desirable
