Responsibilities
- Manages unit of assigned FPM Litigation Supervisors
- Responsible for workflow, administration, developing employee technical skills, and evaluating performance of FPM Supervisors
- Provides high-level technical advice and supervision on litigated cases
- Manage a team handling PIP billing for Auto insurance
- Reviews case authority and reserves on claims
- Accountable for reviewing, auditing, and approving legal expenses
- Collaborates with counsel on litigation as necessary
- Ensures compliance with policies and customer service standards
Requirements
- Claims supervisor experience required
- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated ability to drive results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2+ years of PIP/MP claims handling experience and/or experience handling complex litigation claims preferred
