About the role

  • Manages FPM Litigation Supervisors ensuring quality control and workflow in claims handling. Collaborates on litigated cases with high-level technical advice and team supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Manages unit of assigned FPM Litigation Supervisors
  • Responsible for workflow, administration, developing employee technical skills, and evaluating performance of FPM Supervisors
  • Provides high-level technical advice and supervision on litigated cases
  • Manage a team handling PIP billing for Auto insurance
  • Reviews case authority and reserves on claims
  • Accountable for reviewing, auditing, and approving legal expenses
  • Collaborates with counsel on litigation as necessary
  • Ensures compliance with policies and customer service standards

Requirements

  • Claims supervisor experience required
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+ years of PIP/MP claims handling experience and/or experience handling complex litigation claims preferred
