About the role
- VAT Manager advising EMEA businesses on compliance obligations while supporting tax operations and regulatory updates. Collaborating with product teams on specific tax challenges.
Responsibilities
- Advise on VAT registration requirements, rate determinations, and compliance obligations for businesses operating in EMEA.
- Be the subject matter expert for the EMEA regions.
- Train our tax operations team to oversee VAT compliance operations across EMEA markets, ensuring accurate filings for Anrok and our customers.
- Partner with product teams to shape how we handle specific tax challenges, including e-invoicing mandates, fiscal representation requirements, and country-specific filing obligations.
- Support customer implementations and escalations involving EMEA global tax compliance.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes across and translate them into actionable guidance for the business.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in GST/VAT compliance
- Strong working knowledge of VAT registration, filing, and reporting requirements
- Based in Dublin with the right to work in Ireland.
