About the role

  • Directeur PMO SEMEA leading a team for project control activities in Power Conversion & Storage. Responsible for project planning, risk management, and process improvement across SEMEA regions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and guide a PMO team of 25 professionals, including schedulers, cost controllers and analysts, contract managers and document controllers.
  • Provide direct support to strategic projects through implementation assistance, mentoring, coaching and training.
  • Collaborate with program and project teams to optimize project control across different execution strategies and to improve PMO performance.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of project control processes, tools and standards, in coordination with the global project management organizations of Power Conversion & Storage.
  • Launch and implement training and certification initiatives, and oversee skills development for project control, project/program management and load/capacity alignment.
  • Lead the consolidation of weekly and monthly financial reporting.
  • Develop and strengthen client claims management and proactive risk management practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience establishing a PMO in an industrial environment within a large international group.
  • More than ten years’ demonstrated experience in various execution roles on EPC-type projects.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to be open-minded, innovative and to drive change with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in French and English (required).
