About the role

  • Acting as a liaison between application owners and CTO to align technology initiatives with business needs. Supporting application lifecycle and process improvement within GE Gas Power.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a day-to-day liaison for application owners across the Power business unit, gathering and documenting business requirements and feedback for current and future technology solutions.
  • Lead and engage on tasks and administrative activities related to technology initiatives, such as tracking project status, managing documentation, and assisting with testing and deployment.
  • Support strategic efforts by preparing and presenting analyses to the CTO's office, translating complex business needs into technology language.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement projects, identifying opportunities and executing on process and tool improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for both application owners and the IT team.
  • Assist with the coordination of application support, working with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience/knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts and a basic understanding of software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
  • Experience with a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
  • A self-motivated and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic tech environment.
