About the role

  • Program Manager for Repair Development at Aero Alliance focusing on cost reduction and turnaround improvements. Collaborating with engineering teams to develop and execute repair strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Repair Development deck budget, POs (from Channels) & cost trucking
  • Manage Repair Development Statement of Work redaction and update
  • Manage Repair Development programs invoices (receiving and trucking) for POs issued to Engineering Departments (AEO, GEV, BH) in close contact with Finance
  • Support Repair Development Strategy for Aero Alliance (50/50 joint venture between GE Power & Baker Hughes)
  • Coordinate and align Channels and AA internal function (Platform Leaders, Operation, Sourcing, Cost Out) on Repair Deck definition and project prioritization
  • Manage pacing & reporting session (material preparation, performance trucking, …) for Repair Development deck execution
  • Support creation and execution of Repair Multi-Generational Product Plan (MGPP) and New Product Introduction (NPI) for MRO expansion and Level 5 Component Repairs
  • Support business cases redaction for repairs, including Engineering, P&E and any other related capital or operational expense investment to develop new repairs, for existing fleet and new products
  • Support visibility for total Repair Entitlement by Platform (LM2500, LM6000, LMS100, LM9000) working closely with Platform Leaders
  • Develop and execute new repair qualification projects, for L4 shops; Develop and execute industrialization of new technologies for repair; Prepare Industrialization metrics and reporting sessions
  • Partner with Cost-Out Team exploring potential cost-out projects coming from ideas generated during AWO & sharing sessions with cross functional teams, while getting Finance’s validation of Business cases involved
  • Identify opportunities for improved of Turn Around Time for Level 5 repairs across Supply chain of Aeroderivative technology and work cross-functionally to develop and drive action plans
  • Understand and drive partnership for improvement for GEA L5 Shops performance through recurrent reviews.
  • Ensure timely execution of repair development related programs and activities.
  • Drive strong operating rigor on execution and process improvement for Departure Records to meet critical customer needs, including centralized prioritization, working with GE Aerospace, Aero Alliance, Authorized Service Providers, and main vendors to maximize impact.
  • Work in close partnership between Engineering and Operations to execute repairs
  • Facilitate alternative Repair Vendor(s) scouting in collaboration with Sourcing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or related field of study from an accredited college or university
  • Strong experience in Production Control, Product Management, Engineering, or other relevant technical functions.
  • Ability to handle big data through digital instruments (Excel, Smartsheet, PPT, Projects, …)
  • Willingness to travel around 20% of the time worldwide
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification
